These terms apply when you use this website or buy from it. "Rollkeen", "we" and "us" mean Shea Cordobes, doing business as Rollkeen, 2660 Townsgate Rd Ste 130, Westlake Village, CA 91361. "You" means the person using the site or placing the order.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms. These pages are part of these terms:

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian place the order. We sell to people in the United States for their own use, not for resale.

2. Products and descriptions

We describe the sharpener as accurately as we can, including its angles, grits and sizes, and the knives it won't work with. Photos of the sharpener in use show how it works. Kitchens, knives and food are not included. What you receive matches the description and specifications on the product page.

3. Prices and offers

  • Prices are in US dollars and include free shipping. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
  • The daily deal. Each calendar day, from midnight to midnight US Eastern time, the first 5 orders get the deal price shown on the site. Deal orders also get the lifetime warranty at its deal price, per sharpener. The site shows how many deal orders are left that day. Once they're gone, the regular price applies until midnight Eastern.
  • The two-pack. The two-pack price applies when two or more sharpeners are in one order. It doesn't combine with the daily deal. Each sharpener gets whichever price is lower.
  • Price at checkout. If several people check out at the same moment for the last deal, you pay the price shown at checkout. We never charge the difference later.
  • Pricing errors. If a price on the site is plainly wrong because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order before it ships. We'll refund you in full and tell you by email.

4. Orders and payment

Payment is taken through Shopify's checkout. We never see or store your full card number. An order is accepted when we send the confirmation email. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if we can't fulfil it, or if we reasonably suspect fraud.

5. Shipping, refunds and the warranty

The Shipping policy, the Refund policy and the Lifetime warranty terms cover these. If one of them conflicts with these terms, the more specific policy wins.

6. Using the sharpener safely

  • Knives and sharpening are dangerous. Keep your fingers away from the edge, work on a stable surface and go slowly.
  • The angle block contains strong magnets. Keep it away from pacemakers and other implanted medical devices, and away from bank cards and phones. Keep it out of reach of children, and never let a child handle loose magnets.
  • Keep the sharpener, and knives you've just sharpened, out of reach of children.
  • Sharpening makes fine metal dust. Wipe the roller and any food-prep surface after each use.
  • Use the sharpener only as the product page describes: on smooth-edged, full-size kitchen knives that a magnet sticks to. Don't use it on serrated or ceramic blades.

7. Our responsibility to you

  • Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under consumer law, including any implied warranty.
  • To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
  • We aren't responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee. We also aren't responsible for damage caused by using the sharpener in ways the product page or these terms tell you not to.
  • These terms don't limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit.

8. The website

The text, photos, design and the Rollkeen name on this site belong to us or to the people who license them to us. Don't copy them for commercial use without our permission. Don't misuse the site: don't try to break it, scrape it at scale or place fraudulent orders.

9. Disputes

Please contact us first at support@rollkeen.com. Most problems are solved with one email.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable US federal law. Any court case goes to the state or federal courts for Los Angeles County, California. Either of us can use a small-claims court where you live instead. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the state where you live.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one shown on the site when you placed it.
